Plastic Surgery
...takes time to heal.
It was long overdue, but the site upgrade is mostly done. I did a few things:
- Obviously I changed the whole look of the place so it's a little more professional and a little less "this is the blog I put together in ten minutes."
- I added my new headshots. I'm very happy with them. I needed new headshots SOOO badly. Fortunately my agents at KSA had a really good recommendation. Believe it or now, those headshots were all shot in an alley in Hollywood with all natural lighting. Not even a bounce board. I'm very happy with both the quality and all the different looks I got.
- My demo is online! If you click on the full reel you'll see my theatrical demo and then after a pause my commercial reel. I think my theatrical reel is pretty funny. But then again, no one loves me more than me. --Except my parents. And even they have reservations about that at times.
- My resume is up. This was no big deal, my resume is up at no less than three online casting sites. View Source, Copy, Paste!
- I updated the blog software that runs the site. This has resulted in a few quirks, so bear with me if things don't work exactly like they used to. There is some funkiness going on with the layout when you view my full blog. I'm checking into that.
That's the buzz. I am off to an acting class, then I check out a guest speaker at the Actor's Network, and finally it's a callback for an industrial job.
More next week!
-Tom, putting a big checkmark next to a little item on his To Do list.

however, i was checking out your buffet of emotions and facial expressions. you left out intermittent explosiveness, indifference, or intermittent implosive internalizing disorder.
I'll take any of those three, to be honest.
If they are looking for a real musician, the producer will contact someone who represents real musicians.
I don't think anyone would hire me to star in The Three Tenors, either. But sometimes it's important they know you can carry a tune.
